For my 2008 thru-ride I chose the Hubba by MSR. I was very pleased with it. I really liked that it is free-standing and that is a fine-mesh insect net tent and has a rainfly. I liked that without the rainfly I could see the sky and all around camp. I could see my horse. The ventilation is excellent, and still good with the rainfly on. It is easy to set up. I rarely used the rainfly, just if it was raining or might rain and if I wanted privacy.
