[pct-l] dogs on the PCT

I love dogs. Have one. On the trail I once had a wet dog run over everyone's
sleeping bags in a shelter on the AT. Another time a dog took my bagel and I
had to chase him to get it back as it was my last one. I won the wrestling
match and ate it. The owner said "he never did that before" and never even
said he's sorry.

If people want to hike and don't have someone to take their dog then they
should hike with it. But make an effort to not impose on other hikers trip.

Clueless owners. I met a guy carrying his little dog. A little poofy poodle.
I met a girl who adopted a puppy in Damascas to bring north on her thruhike.
Very clueless. The solution in those situations is to hike faster and leave
them miles behind and out of mind.
