P178,

I have switched from plasticwear to wool as a base/wicking layer in cold weather. Retains very little body odor and passes my wife's BO meter.

I just ordered another Terramar Woolskins from Sierra Trading Post:

Around camp, for insulation over this wool layer, I wear a 100 fleece or Montbell down jacket. If really cold/windy, add an O2 Rainwear outershell. 4 layers total.

Since a lot of heat is lost through the head, one of my favorite piece of cold weather clothing = OR Ninjaclava.

Stay warm for the holiday seasons.
