I think someone posted a link showing a photo of that tree quite a while back - but I can't find it!  Maybe it was Switchback that posted a photo link a year or two ago...

It looks like it's out in the open grassy area (in Spring) before you get to the large oaks (when nobo) on the WS 'loop' Switchback likes to hike (maybe he's stalking ranch guests out on the bike trails out past the golf course and PCT)...
