I have a question to ask you all.  You must replace your insoles at least once on the trip, so what do you replace with?  

Right now I'm testing two different gel insoles - one in each shoe - and what I've found is that my feet seem hotter than with the regular insoles.  The same hold true for a gel bicycle seat.  Hotter - especially in the summer and in a place where you just don't need more heat.  

But what is your experience?
