[pct-l] PCT closure North of Sierra City?

Hello All,

I'm sitting in an internet cafe in South Lake Tahoe trying to find out
information about a possible trail closure North of Sierra City.

I've heard rumors that there is a closure from Sierra City to Old Station.
Is there any truth to this rumor?

If possible, can somebody let me know where the fires are, which sections of
trail North of South Lake Tahoe are *currently* affected, and re-route
information, if any?

There are several of us in South Lake Tahoe who really don't want to skip
the 180 miles from Sierra City to Old Station.
