[pct-l] enough time to plan?

Whether it's possible or not depends a lot on where you're starting from. I
started planning my hike of CA less than two months before I started and
completed it successfully. But I already completed two long hikes for which
I had extensively planned, had all my gear or knew what I needed, and was
already in good physical shape.
If you are experienced and equipped backpackers, and currently in pretty
good shape you should be able to do it.
Some suggestions:
Yogi's book is a great reference for planning.
Craig's PCT Planning Program at http://www.pctplanner.com/.
Most importantly start training now and put some miles on your feet.
