[pct-l] GoLite Pack question

Any of you that have the GoLite pack or have seen it
close, perhaps you could comment on my idea.  I am
interested in using the GoLite pack, but sewing my
Dana hip belt to it.  I have very weak shoulders and
don't want to carry much weight on them.  I know it
goes against Jardine's philosophy on not restricting
the hips during walking, but it's my preference.  So,
could anyone tell me if it appears that it's possible
to sew a hip belt on this pack?
