[pct-l] Introduction

As I am new to the list here is a bit of an introduction.  I am a
member of the Pacific Crest Trail Assn. and am a member of the
ALDHA-West board.  I've backpacked since the late 1970s mostly in
Oregon until 1993 when I completed over 1500 miles of the PCT.  Then
in 1994 I fulfilled a seventeen year dream hiking from Mexico to
Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail.  I went back and rehiked some
sections in 1997 and 1999.  All told I've logged over 6000 pct miles,
and had the time of my life.  I guess I can't get enough and am
planning another thru-hike for 2001.
     Until then I will enjoy some less ambitious hiking, and perusing
the pct digest.
