[pct-l] bug proof garment

To those who have hiked the mosquito infested areas of Oregon and
Washington...What in the way of garments has worked for protection.  What
type of fabric?

I'm interested in making my own bug proof shell and need something that's
light and still somewhat breathable.  Any ideas welcome.  Tnx
