Hello all,

I've been lurking for a while, but now I have to post.  I have plans to do
a thru hike starting in late May (around May 22).  The person I originally
had plans to do it with hurt his hip during our JMT hike this summer, and
won't be able to do the thru hike with me.  So, I was wondering if there
was anyone else out there in a similar predicament who would want to hike
with me?  Any takers?
	By the way, I posted a message asking about advice for a good small camera
for backpacking, and I owe a thank you to whomever it was that suggested
that I get a Ricoh GR1.  I did get one, and I just got back my photos from
the JMT hike which I took solely with that camera.  They are insanely
awesome.  As soon as I get the time, I'll put them on a web page and let
everyone know the address.  I feel a little bad exhorting the virtues of
this camera now, since I know Ricoh stopped producing it to focus on their
digital line, but if you can find a used one somewhere I recommend it
wholeheartedly.  A bit expensive, but worth every penny.
