Great story!  I'll leave the suturing to those who know how.  

Thanks so much for your generousity and hospitality in getting me to the 
trailhead at Campo this past April.  Sven ended up camping with us later that 
day at Hauser Creek, you must have had a busy day.  We even got see a few 
illegals, neat!  

I'll be back to finish the trail soon and who knows there may be a possibilty 
of starting all over again.  If so, I'll make sure to stop in and visit.  In 
hindsight, the hiking in Southern California was't all that bad.
