[pct-l] Ice and snow, oh my!

Hi --

I'm tentatively planning a go at the Washington leg of the PCT next
summer, and I'm curious -- are there any portions in there where you would
need an ice pick or crampons or other specialized gear? I've backpacked
before, but not using anything particularly fancy, and I'm wondering if I
need to do any specialized training.
