Thanks for the information on the location of bear boxes. It was very helpful. I'm not sure that I have a complete picture but this is a great start. Ronald Moak's idea that he posted under

Since the responses were so helpful on this topic I am encouraged to try again with another. In my first 700 miles I have only used my first aid supplies for some minor foot problems and I certainly hope to keep it that way but I seem to remember a discussion of prescription drugs that are good to carry on the trail. I have an appointment with a physician while I'm off the trail for a few weeks and I'd like to request any useful  prescriptions. Does anyone have any suggestions?
