sorry about that last message if it got sent.  some people were asking Drew to post the information about the nylon used to make tarps, so here it is:
The company to get the material is Quest Outfitters  800-359-6931.  the item # is 1024.  it is called 1.1 oz ripstop nylon and it runs around $6.40 a yard.  each yard has the dimensions of 5 feet by 3 feet.  it is available in many colors and works great for tarps, stuff sacks, and ground sheets.  
the people are extremely freindly at Quest Outfitters so if you have any more questions or want a catolog give them a call.
