the day-zero party is april 17th.  using craig's planner, i figure
i'll be at kennedy meadows may 26th.  no doubt some will be there 
earlier.  i highly recommend looking at the snow pack web pages.
i have found two and put links to them on my web pages:

the basic answer is: less snow then average in the south, more than
average in the north, with tahoe being about average.

i am planning on hitting significant snow at about 10,000 to 11,000 feet
around the beginning of june in the mt. whitney area.

as always, i welcome advice from those more experienced.
