You will find snow bridges almost anywhere. Last year an experienced hiker
hurt himself badly when a snow bridge gave way. Fortunately, it wasn't over
a creek.
Snowbridges are often over running water. Often the trail is a creek for
runoff so if you are exactly on trail you may be on a snowbridge.
One thing not mentioned to date. Last year I carried a rope to ford streams
and cross snow chutes.
