RE: [pct-l] Tent color question



This gets discussed in the Stephensons catalog. I don't have it with me
right now, but I remember that yellows and light greens are most visible in
low light, i.e. for finding your dent at dusk. I think there was also
something about blues blending in. Anyways, I can look the rest up tonight
unless someone else has the info now.
If you're going to be snowbound or waiting out a storm, lighter colors are
supposedly more cheerful. Lighter colored tents should be more resistant to
UV, since the lighter colors reflect more light, but I don't know if this
really makes a significant difference to the life span of the tent.
