Not that it matter,s Brick, but I got my infor for Everest deaths on page 357
in the book Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer. He states between 1921 and May of
1996, 630 climbers topped Everest with 144 deaths. In 1997 84 more reached
summit with 12 more deaths for a total ratio of 1 in 7. ( 1921 thu 1996 ratio
was1 in 4 )
