Huh?  I do believe the thrust of the Ogre's message (however I could be
wrong :-)) was, after all of the heated sword fighting, he found it better
to ignore the heated attacks of others than to respond and "put decent
intelligent people down".  Read it again, rather than rising to throw out
another careless attack.  

I guess I'm not following the wise Ogre's message myself!  I should have
just ignored this heated attack on me.  Oh, the shame of it all . . .
