[pct-l] Medical Insurance

Kaiser, the big HMO in California, is $107/month for someone between 30 and
39 living in an urban area. It's less for rural areas. Prices go up as
you get older, of course. A lot of people don't like HMOs, but I
appreciate the cheap prescriptions and always being able to make same-day
appointments. I also find I spend a lot less time in the waiting room.
The standard agreement says they will cover out-of-network emergency
treatment, but I'm sure it'd be more of a paperwork hassle than you'd have
with pricier insurance.

Does anyone know the cheapest insurance one can get for say major medical
stuff? Is there anything out there for less than $100/month?

Thanks,
