I use a Marmot "Couplet system". A similer system is used by "Feathered
Friends". The result is one (1) retangular down bag at about 3.5 pounds and
one couplet at slightly less than a pound -- for two people.

Re; Ground Cloth
Use cellophane masking tape to tape a 1 mil polyethylen film on the bottom
of your tent {It will last a month -- or three (3) if you are very careful}
