I have a 25 year old Kelty Tioga. This is the old 4 pocket model. I just
sent it in for a tuneup. They replaced my hip & shoulder straps, fixed a
hole in an outside pocket that a squirrel chewed through, and will re-coat
the pack with a spray
to re waterproof it. All at cost of $0.00. (Thank you lifetime warranty).
And this was the second biggest pack they maid in 73, the larger one was
the expedition version seen in magazines of the
time on Everest trips.
The pack weighs around 3.5 lb. Lighter than alot of packs today.
