[pct-l] Jan. hike

Hey there,
        I was planning on going for about a week long hike around the end
of January on some part of the PCT.  I just want to get out and I would
also like to go through a post office to try the whole mail-drop thing.
Any suggestions?  I was thinking Southern CA, but maybe I should try the
whole snow thing since I am going North->South.  Anyway, any suggestions
would be much appreciated.
