[pct-l] Whisperlite

OK on with products. I currently have a Coleman Ultralight 442 stove, it is
still pretty heavy. If you don't know this is the stove that doesn't have
the little legs on it. The burner sits on top of the fuel tank, and flame
control is very good.
I have read on some other web sites that it is dangerous to use a wind
screen on these types of stoves. Why?
I was looking at the MSR Whisperlite, I know this type of stove can use a
wind screen. From reviews I have been reading on websites like
thebackpacker.com, I get the impression that it only has one setting, FULL
POWER.
Is this true, did Tim Taylor design this.

Little help here,
Dave
