[pct-l] New editon of PCT guidebooks coming out this year?

Hi everybody,

I'm brand new on this list.  My name is David Long, I live in Seattle, WA,
and I'm planning to thru-hike the PCT next summer (1999).  I just joined the
PCTA in August.

Anyway, I want to buy the Pacific Crest Trail Guidebooks (by Schaffer,
Schifrin, Winnett, Jenkins) as soon as possible so I can plan my hike.  Does
anybody know if there will be a new edition coming out soon? I don't want to
buy them twice in the same year.
