Removing the bear boxes (just like Inyo NF did) is on their list of options, and from the way it reads it seems like that may be prefered option. If you don't want this to happen, then print out the reply form, fill it out and send it in, EXCEPT it is supposed to be there by today.

According to a telcon with the SEKI wilderness honcho, as of 25 August counterbalancing is prohibited in the SEKI backcountry. I am still waiting on some form of written confirmation with more specifics
