Perhaps I need to read the regulation again. I don't recall any mention of the
phrase "bring your own wood" when they said "No fires above xxx feet
elevation." Or do regulations just apply to "others" who might be less-
experienced hikers than we?
Whether we agree with regulations or not, we should ALL comply or find a "no
regulations allowed" trail. After all, regulations are in place to preserve
what we enjoy.
