[pct-l] Bear canisters

     I know this following question might sound dumb.  Where do you 
     place these new bear food canisters that can be carried in a 
     backpack?  The rangers in the sierras recommend not to hang your 
     food anymore because the bears will get your food no matter what 
     you do.  If you keep them outside your tent seems like the bear 
     could just roll it away.  One friend of mine said I should put it 
     50 yards away & hide it with brush - is that a good idea?  Any 
     ideas will be appreciated.  Thanks.
