There is a local-area bus service between Wenatchee and Chelan that
should take care of your transportation needs. Once you get to
Wenatchee, Greyhound should get you back to Seattle. 

Have fun on your trip and, as a resident/property-owner in Stehekin, I
have the following advice for your stop in Stehekin:

 1 - Stop for dinner at the Stehekin Valley Ranch. Their hamburger with
     salad-bar is an outstanding value AND tasty. It is located about
     one mile from the trailhead at highbridge.

 2 - Stop at the bakery near town and enjoy their wonderful selection
     of baked goodies!

Stick your thumb out if you want a ride from one of the local people and
you can get a ride to the ranch or town. Offer them a cup of coffee and
a cinnamon-roll for their trouble but don't offer money - that's almost  an
insult up there. If no local cars pass by the NPS shuttle or 'Elvis' 
(that's the Lower Valley Shuttle - LVS) will take you to town for a fee.
