Bill Crum visited with our Combs Peak/Tule Spring volunteer trail crew last
Thursday.  He was headed north still in good health and spirits, but will be
looking for new tent poles in Idyllwild.

Sounds like you had a good time hiking from Pioneer Mail to Scissors Crossing.
Two Americorps trail crews are working in that stretch now on the PCT from Lucky
5 Ranch Road to Mason Valley Truck Trail and from Rodriguez Canyon to Scissors
Crossing.    Any sign of them when you went through?
