For the upcoming PCTA Trail Fest  gear show next Saturday there will be the 
world premier of the  following hiking demos: 
 
1.  Sub Extreme Ultra  Light Gear.  Well beyond just plain old fashion 
Extreme Ultra Light.   That is way too heavy.
 
2.  Dehydrated Water - How to  reduce your water volume and weight by at 
least 50%. (No, not by drinking  it or dumping it out.)  Or to if needed, to 
reduce it to near ZERO weight  and volume.
 
3.  On demand/all the  time Trail Snow Slushies - You know how hot it can get 
out there  campaigning on the PCT. What would you say to having ice cold snow 
slushies  any time you wanted them on the trail for practically no additional 
 weight?
 
Yes, your buddy Switchback comes  through for you again.  Also, Rattlesnake 
might be able to assist in the  demos, but he might have to work on that 
Saturday building the power  plant for the city of Victorville.  He is the site 
project  manager.
