[pct-l] New Balance 805's

Are the holes in the lining fabric on inside of the heel counter? That's
where one (only one!) of my 805's developed a hole (and I a blister and then
macerated skin). Applying a patch of two layers of fleece fabric, glued on
with washable fabric glue, saved the shoe. No more problem in another 600+
miles.

Subject: [pct-l] New Balance 805's

I know the 805's are infamous for their heels blowing out. I have holes
starting in both the shoes that I've been training in lately. Any opinions/
experience as to whether I should try to fix them or just accept that they
would probably give me blisters within a couple hundred miles... and just
consider them prematurely dead and go shopping for new shoes?

Thanks ahead of time,
Ben
