i never met richard skaggs, so i can't comment on him, but his caretaker 
bob is certainly no "scumbag," at least not in my experience and 
apparently the experience of most people who have replied on this topic. 
he went well out of his way to be hospitable to me, and i certainly 
thank him and remember him for it. just my 2 cents.
