Now you have seen, felt, smelled, and heard the amazing transformation snow  
brings to an otherwise dirty, buggy, gritty, and noisy mountain landscape or  
forest.  Many colors disappear to be replaced with almost black and  whites.  
Granite textures get buried beneath a blanket of icy insulation of  snow.  The 
air is colder and more humid causing rich, warm, summer smells  to freeze 
'till spring.  The sounds of the forest or the echoes of the  eagle's cry far 
above the great granite cathedrals of the High Sierra are  muffled and stilled.  
 
Even 4 or 5 inches can do this.  Man can't.
 
And the Range of Light becomes one unforgettable, undeniable Throne  Room 
experience for all who dare to enter in!
 
Think about that!
