[pct-l] The Paleoamerican Circuit Trail Challenge

Here's one. Repeat the journey from the initial crossing of the Bering
Straight land bridge from Siberia into Alaska some 50,000-11,000 years ago
and hike all the way down to around Santiago, Chile-- thus retracing the
path of colonization likely taken by early humans in the Americas. Of
course, it took tens of thousands of years for humans to finally arrive in
the far southern reaches of South America, but they weren't exactly into
ultralight distance hiking.
Added bonus: Go to Antarctica and wait for an iceberg to break free from the
continental ice sheet and 'ride the berg' home northward along the east
coast of the Americas.
