I am just one of the poster on this List.  I do try to have fun with the posts.  Not get too up tight about things.  That's about it really.  I started hiking the PCT in 1970 and hanging around the backpacking scene in 1968 with Rattlesnake.  We decided we did not want to hunt anymore and kill things, so decided the adventure of the trail was cool.  Here I am 40 years later still trying to figure out this backpacking stuff.  It is a losing battle.  Cheers, Switchback
