[pct-l] alternates

Oposite method of Sly;

I took the JMT when I section hiked the JMT, and The PCT
when I thru-hiked the PCT. I liked the PCT because you
could look at Banner and Ridder as you were hiking up.
Also had a lot of nice springs, and I guess I liked it
because it was different...prehaps the best thing is to
do a Yo-Yo on the PCT and take one going and the other coming.

I did the JMT section on my PCT hike and the PCT section on my JMT hike and
thought both were good trails, neither one was all that better than the other.
Next time through though, I'll probably take the River Trail which runs
between them.

To paraphase Yogi Berra, "When you come to the folk in the trail, take it."
