[pct-l] To The Onion



For snow camping I carry along a Slumberjack or REI sleeping bag 
"envelope", not quite a bivy sack, but waterproof and put pad and bag 
inside that.  Add an acrylic pack towel laying on the bottom of the 
tent to pick up any moisture, and I'm dry.

Has the advantage of being able to lounge around inside the tent 
without getting bag wet and/or dirty.

A bit of weight, but lighter than the water it avoids absorbing, AND 
a lot more comfortable.
