[pct-l] miles vs. kilometers
It's funny how much controversary my little post generated. Not that I'm
surprised.
The metric system was designed in France, so metric is "un American".
However the US measurement system is based on the English system so the
US system is also "un American".
And then I recall the comment that one couldn't build houses with the
metric system; however the commentator didn't say how almost all the
world manages to build houses with the metric system.
