[pct-l] Water Tricks-Heat training

Heat training is an option (which I personally plan to make use of). I ran
across the following web pages

http://ladesai.home.att.net/lowhigh/index.html
http://ladesai.home.att.net/dv/index.html

which describe a couple of mid-summer Death Valley hikes (they're short and
fairly fun reads). The author mentions heat training and comments that he did
about 15 sessions of 90-120 minutes the month before. I wrote to him and he
further mentioned that he found the method extremely effective; that sweating
profusely during the training is required; that he adopted this after reading
research papers on this and that the method had been used by the US atheletes
prior to the Atlanta Olympics.
