Admittedly, there are times when I wish I had camp shoes... but, the Extra
Weight??? How decadent!! When crossing streams, I use the opportunity to wash
my sox by taking off my shoes and wearing just sox for the crossing. I
change into a dry pair ( I carry only two pairs)... assuming a pair is dry. If
not, I just wring them out and go on...
