[pct-l] The Bad Bear

Yesterday I talked with Mike, a ranger in the Vidette
Meadows area. He said that he followed the errant bear
(the one that opens BearVaults and has bluff charged 6
parties, and swiped someone across the face (according
to ranger reports in the area) for 40 minutes. I when
the correct bear is indentified, it will probably be
destroyed. Sad. Let's hope it hasn't taught any other
bears his tricks!
At the trailhead in Onion Valley a Jetta was trashed
by a bear. Why do people leave food in their trunks! I
won't even let anyone eat in my car.
