[pct-l] Gathering weather

Just got back from Sierra Pines and a weekend stay at South Lake  Tahoe:
 
    Numerous, fantastic lightning and thunder storms,  some of which produced 
snow on us as we climbed the mt. Tallac trail.   Partial sun by 11:00.  
Thunderstorm activity going away, though.   Nightly lows in the 20s; highs - 70 to 
80.  Clear and crisp with ice on the  grass in the morning!  Many creeks still 
running and some high country wild  flowers still out along the trail.
