FWIW: The PCT class of 07 is forming up as well. About 14 so far. Anyone want to join in
for support, hiking partners, transportation, pooling resources/info. The "community" I've been cobbling together is a group of '07 NOBO's interested in making a thru hike as comfy as possible - maybe "pre-hike' (slack-pack) Camp-Lk Morena & Lk Morena to Mt. Laguna before ADZPCTKO then ferry up to Mt. Laguna to continue "in earnest", ie w/packs after the big shindig. Maybe some slack packing opportunities further on, as well (Oregon for sure). Hope for no "flipping", but we'll see about the Sierra snowpack situation.
Anyway, if interested, drop me a line (other 'geezers' and assorted 'codgers' welcome).
