[pct-l] 2006 anyone? - here come the questions!

1. Where do you sleep?
2. Where do you go to the bathroom?
3. Are you taking a gun?
4. Do you ever sleep in a motel?
5. How often do you shower?
6.
7. Will you carry a cell phone?
8. You'll be gone for 5 months?!?!?
9. Did you ever want to quit?
10.

I'm still working on #6 and #10.

Brava, Yogi!

Some answers for the jeopardy questions:

1. On the ground.
2. In the woods (or in the brush, or in the dirt ;-) )
3. No. why would I?
4. Sometimes.
5. Oh, about once a week, sometimes maybe once every 10 days.
6. Yes. I hate them, but they work for me.
7. No.
8. Yes, that's about how long it takes...
9. Never.
10. Sometimes.

So I invite all guesses as to the questions!!!!! (this was a great
subject for my '94, now collectible edition, Christmas letter)

Never measure the height of a mountain until you have reached its top. Then
you will know how low it was.

Well, it's been a slow few months on PCT-L. It
seems like next year's hikers are emerging, and
we will no doubt begin to see all of **THOSE**
questions. You old-time listers know what I'm
talking about. They're the questions that we've
answered before . . . . the questions that always
stir up controversy . . . . the questions that we
hope will not start flame wars.

I propose that this time we keep it clean. Let's
answer the questions about bear canisters, dogs,
bikes, etc., without all the craziness that usually
follows. Remember that the new listers don't know
that their questions have been asked and answered
(and answered, and answered, and answered) already.

If you're being sarcastic, use a smiley face :) or
a wink ;). This helps people interpret your tone.

Try to NOT respond when someone is obviously trying
to stir up trouble. There are certain topics and
people who I simply will not respond to no matter
what they write. If someone's pushing your buttons,
let it go.

Finally, once upon a time we ALL wondered what the
answers to **THOSE** questions were. Now that we've
hiked the hike and formed our opinions, we should
share our experience with those who don't know.

Looking forward to an interesting PCT-L winter!
