[pct-l] Teatree verses ticks
Interesting. Tea tree oil has a reputation for being a great antiseptic &
antifungal agent too. John Vonhof had a bit in his latest e-zine about a
tea-tree oil -based foot lubricant. Tried to order some but the website was
not functioning properly (not John's but the vendor's, a dermatologist in
Beverly Hills).
Paul Mitchell Co. (hair product manufacturer) makes a nice tea-tree oil
based shampoo - good after a day of trail maintenance! It gets the goo
out...

Here in Washington , forest service advices employees to use shampoo with
tea tree oil to reduce chances of picking up ticks during their outings.
