If you want even a better longer view of Mt Hood, start at Barlow Pass and 
walk clear across the mountain. The southeast side is gorgeous and not as 
busy.
BTW, I'm back and available for shuttles from PDX to either Hiway 26, Gov;t 
Pass-Barlow pass-or Cascade locks to or from the airport.
