[pct-l] Any permits required for hiking all of Oregon on the PCT?

I am not entirely certain about Crater Lake NP, if
you wish to camp outside the car campgrounds.
Someone else can answer about that case.

Apart from that, the only special permit area on
the Oregon PCT would be the Obsidian area
of Three Sisters Wilderness. No special permit
is required to hike through that area, but you are
supposed to have a permit to camp there overnight.

Because permits for Obsidian are issued at the
MacKenzie FS ranger station, which is hardly
convenient for a PCT section hiker, a FS ranger
might be willing to overlook the lack of a permit,
if you are nice and it is a weekday. No guarantee.
