I sure hope Bill is okay. He's one of the nicest people I've met!

Knight" Jennings. He's been active in supporting hikers over the last few
years.

Bill, left Cumbers Pass last week headed north to Wolf Creek Pass. He has
failed to show up at Wolf Creek Pass and is currently several days overdue.
ALDHA-West member Paul Griffith traveled the same route a day behind Bill
and saw no signs of him or his camp. Paul mentioned a significant amount of
snow still remaining in the high country that forced him to alternate his
route.

Bill is a tough hiker and is known to grunt through areas I wouldn't dare.
However, he also has some sever medical problems including heart problems
plus some recent surgeries for cancer.

Meadow Ed is currently in Pagosa Springs supporting his hike and has
notified local officials. I don't know if a formal search has been started,
but should know more later today.

If you're currently hiking the CDT in this area please keep an eye out for
Bill. For the rest of us, keep him in your hearts.

Thanks,

Fallingwater
